Self-publishing is becoming a more and more popular option for authors and illustrators. In this 90 minute webinar, author Karen Inglis will give an overview of the process and help you understand the key options for self-publishing in print and in eBooks, including:
– working with illustrators and editors
– how to find the best collaborators
– scams to look out for
– first steps towards marketing
The presentation will be followed by a Q & A.
About Karen:
Self-published international bestselling author Karen Inglis writes picture books, chapter books and short middle grade novels for ages 3-11. Her time travel adventure The Secret Lake has sold close to 300,000 copies in print in the English language. Karen has presented on children’s self-publishing around the UK and is Children’s Advisor at The Alliance of Independent Authors. She blogs at Selfpublishingadventures.com and is currently working on an update to her hugely popular non-fiction book How to Self-Publish and Market a Children’s Book.
